A show-floor demonstrating the culture and life of nomads will be created on the area of the Palais Royal.
The Days of Astana will be held in Paris from 31 October to 3 November, reports Kazpravda.kz citing the press-service of the capital’s administration.

« Representatives of culture, education and urban planning will arrive on a working visit in the French capital.  As part of this major event a unique project – Kazakh ethnic village (aul) recreating the culture and life of the nomads – ancestors of the Kazakh nation will be presented in the area of the Palais Royal in Paris. Visitors will be able to transfer to the ethno-cultural environment of nomadic civilization, personally feel the atmosphere of old centuries, « – it is said in the announcement.

An oriental bazaar created on the area of the Pope Royale will sell jewelry, leather and wood items and souvenirs, made by Kazakh artisans. In addition, the Parisians will be offered a big concert program with soloists and creative teams of Astana. A 9 meter-diameter yurt “Ak Orda” will be erected in the area of the Louvre.

Within the framework of the Days of Astana in Paris the delegation of specialists in education, science, culture and urban development from Astana will pay a working visit to France.  They intend to learn the experience of their French counterparts.
